Bob James

With over 20 Years of Music Industry Experience including Marketing, Promotion, Social Media and Digital PR, Publishing, Record Label, Management, and other areas of exploitation of Intellectual Property, Bob has high level experience in almost every aspect of the Music Industry. Bob regularly sits on industry panels and lectures on the Music Industry and new business models. Bob has been a consultant for many major labels, artist and song writing organisations and production companies. He is a full member of the MMF and a qualified music business education lecturer.

Bob was one of the original founders of Music House, which was the UK’s largest and most successful independent music promotions company, working at Club, Radio, TV and International promotions for virtually every successful UK and European label and most major artists at some point. Music House was started in 1992 and grew to over 30 staff and a multimillion pound turnover before Bob left to specialise in management, artist development, digital marketing and promotion strategies.

Bob is currently Director of: Intune Addicts Ltd, Chase the Tag, Bob James Management Services and a consultant for Agenda Rights Management.



Mark Smutz Smith

Mark has worked across the globe with primarily independent artists such as: Passenger (most notably through his “Sound of the C” promotion nights with his first ever solo show back in 2009), The Matthew Jay Tribute Concert, pivotal performances at One Movement Perth WA/The Great Escape), The Feeling, Will And The People, Stu Larsen, Steve Conte, Emma Stevens, Hogan, Melodramas, The Lost Souls Club, Dlugokecki, The Rebs, Goober Gun, Blackcouch and English Pride: (World Cup 2006).

Managing, booking, promoting, touring, implementing social strategies and releasing/licensing extensively throughout South East Asia, Kuwait, Australia, Europe, USA, Canada and the UK where he has developed networks of influential business contacts and partners across the board. Mark brings with him 20 years in corporate sales and marketing (advertising, portal and property).

C-sounds is his in house digital distribution company and he was part of the early consultation team for the cutting edge music collaboration app Whole World Band. Mark has spoken on music panels in three continents on the topics of New Business Models for Independent Artists, Developing Emerging Markets (China, Vietnam, Cambodia etc) and Social Media Marketing.

Mark is also a Director of Intune Addicts Ltd.



Kairen Kemp

Kairen has worked in the entertainment industry since her teens first as an actor, then as a radio presenter, producer, music PR tutor and mentor.

She is known for her passion for great music and her empathy with artists. Kairen is a producer and presenter for the BBC on the Introducing unsigned music show as well as guesting on other shows on the station. She has also worked in the commercial broadcasting sector. Her passion has been the development of all artists at all levels including unsigned artists.

As a PR Kairen has worked with major artists from the USA and Europe as well as the UK. She personally promotes gigs for visiting artist clients as well as with promoters in Brighton and London.



Holly Glanvill

A current student in her final year of a BA (Hons) Songwriting degree course at BIMM Brighton, Holly is applying her extensive knowledge of music business marketing from the point of view of a creative. She has developed many close connections to songwriters, musicians,  journalists, promoters and a keen understanding of the youth market in both music and fashion.

With experience in creating marketing plans and the self release process, Holly has achieved National support with songs being aired on ITV and also support from BBC Introducing. Her own YouTube channel has given her a keen understanding of social media marketing and exploitation of copyrights.

Holly is constantly discovering new music and talent and works on our account management team.



Liza-Marie Williams


A current post-graduate student of International Marketing at the University of Sussex and BA (Hons) Songwriting graduate of BIMM Brighton. Liza-Marie is applying her knowledge of the music business and international marketing from the perspective of the creative.

Having gigged and promoted herself as an artist in Brighton and London and worked on digital marketing campaigns with up and coming artists from the area, Liza has experience in running marketing campaigns, the self release process and has developed many connections with songwriters, musicians, journalists and promoters.
